If you know me at all, you know that I love movies. I constantly quote movies in every day conversations, probably to the point that it's annoying.
I constantly hear people talking about CG effects in movies and how so many of them are ruined by them. Just watch any review of "Justice League" and you'll know what I'm talking about. Don't get me wrong, I am in no way saying that it was a good movie. I'm saying it's kind of a poster child for overuse and abuse of computer graphics in film.
All of which brings me to the point of this post... What's the most interesting to me is when movies use CG properly and you have no idea that it was even there.
It's widely known that CG is great at creating background effects and objects, yet not quite the same at creating realistic people or facial expressions. However, you might be surprised at how good it can be when it is used correctly.
